Total Quality Management: A Course Development Guide
Hardcover book written for Motorola University and Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University. The client wrote the following on the flyleaf:

Intranet Site
Designed and created a “Supporting Documentation” intranet site with remote rollovers. The graphic was developed from a design by a network engineer at the major corporation.

I received two awards for excellence while completing a long-term contract with this corporation.

Automated Templates
These  two images, “Subnet Masks” and “Hardware Tables,”  are captured from a set of automated templates I created. They were used by network engineers to design the third largest privately owned network in the U.S. The forms are accessed via custom toolbars in Microsoft Word documents. The templates ensured consistency in design and made certain the designers fully completed their documents. The end results were
o  Increased accuracy
o   Enhanced productivity
o   Time savings
o   Cost savings
In addition, I created user guides and trained more than 40 network designers on using the templates.

HUD Project
Designed, wrote, and edited "Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Technical Assistance Project.” The project consists of 12 trainer and trainee manuals, guidebooks, and color overheads used to train community development personnel to assist minority- and women-owned business enterprises obtain capital and business information.

Project for a Manufacturer
Wrote task-specific training materials for the suite of CoCreate OneSpace Designer (OSD) applications used to create and control engineering drawings in a manufacturing environment.

Wrote installation instructions and training materials for the sophisticated online meetings application, CoCreate Collaboration. Users collaborate on and virtually edit 3D designs.

Performed quality assurance (QA) and regression testing of the OSD modules and customizations. Detected and documented show-stoppers, defects, and bugs.

Worked with a developer to write task-specific retirement instructions for legacy applications.

Increase Productivity
Wrote for several clients quick references that explain how to use popular software applications. This example shows a quick reference to inserting text boxes in Visio shapes. Visio is a popular Microsoft application used to create a variety of documents from organizational charts to engineering schematics.
